This position is for a large program supporting the U.
S.
Department of Defense's (DoD) Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP) within the National Capitol Region.
The mission of the office is to ensure a healthy Defense Industrial Base (DIB) able to meet the warfighters' needs with industrial capabilities upon which the DoD can rely on in an era of great power competition to fulfill current and future warfighter capabilities.
We will have several opportunities available (pending contract award) at various customer and HII sites.
Remote or hybrid options may be available.
The salary will range from $100,000 to $135,000.
We may demonstrate flexibility depending upon experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Plan and assign project tasks, milestones, schedules, and budgets.
Draft contractual documents (e.
g.
, performance work statements, cost estimates, schedules).
Coordinate with relevant DoD and non-DoD Government agencies to ensure their industrial base requirements are met.
Interview industry for technical and market requirements.
Generate interest with industry to ensure companies respond to Government Requests for Information, Requests for Proposals, White Papers, and Bids.
Manage the project to ensure that suppliers meet contractual requirements, the project plan continues to reflect requirements, and suppliers and collaborators meet schedule deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
PMP certified.
Experience or interest in materials, material applications, defense systems, and/or supply chains.
Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
Effective data analysis and problem solving skills; attention to detail.
Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Must be eligible to hold a SECRET level security clearance.
TS/SCI preferred.
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen.
